SALVO® Herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 34704-609) SALVO® by Loveland Products, Inc. is a selective post-emergence herbicide designed for effective broadleaf weed control in a wide array of agricultural and non-crop settings. With the active ingredient 2,4-D, SALVO® targets key broadleaf pests such as pigweed, lambsquarters, ragweed, mallow, cocklebur, mustards, and velvetleaf. It is recommended for use in cereal grains (such as wheat, barley, oats), corn, sorghum, fallow land, and established pastures and rangelands. Key Broadleaf Weeds Controlled: - Pigweed (Amaranthus spp.) - Lambsquarters (Chenopodium album) - Ragweed (Ambrosia spp.) - Cocklebur (Xanthium spp.) - Mustards (Brassica spp.) - Velvetleaf (Abutilon theophrasti) - Mallow (Malva spp.) - Smartweed (Polygonum spp.), and others Application Timing: Apply SALVO® when broadleaf weeds are small and actively growing for best results. In cereal crops, apply from the 3-leaf to jointing stage. In corn, apply when corn is in the 2- to 5-leaf stage and weeds are young.
